[JNGL DJ Battle Application Terms] Eligibility: The competition is open to DJs residing in the United States or it’s terriotories. Proof of residence may be required. Application Process: All applicants must complete the official application form in full. Failure to answer required questions or incorrectly filling out the application will result in immediate disqualification. Incomplete submissions will not be considered. Acceptance Notification: If selected to move forward in the competition, you will receive an email from [email protected] with next steps. Please ensure this email address is marked as safe in your inbox to avoid missing important communications. No Further Contact: You will only receive communications from JNGL if you are advancing in the competition. If you do not receive an email, this means you were not selected, and no further updates will be provided. Performance Guidelines: Selected DJs will be expected to perform at the JNGL DJ Battle on February 6th in New Orleans, LA – Venue to be confirmed. Specific time slots and performance details will be provided in the acceptance email. Original Content: All music played during the competition must be original or no pre-made remixes, edits, or mashups are allowed. DJs are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to play any tracks in their set. Equipment: DJs will be required to use the provided equipment unless otherwise approved in advance. Details regarding the setup will be provided to selected participants. Judging Criteria: DJs will be judged on creativity, skill, crowd engagement, and overall performance. The judging panel’s decision will be final. Code of Conduct: All participants are expected to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor throughout the competition. Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate disqualification. Prizes: Prizes for winners will be announced closer to the event date. Promotional Use: By applying and participating in the competition, you grant JNGL the right to use your name, likeness, and performance for promotional purposes in connection with the event, both before and after the competition. Disqualification: Any breach of these terms or failure to comply with event guidelines will result in disqualification from the competition.
